Bio
Anita van Vuuren has over 10 years of experience in most levels of South African Education through involvement in private, governmental, higher education and school developments. She is a pragmatist and educational specialist with a background in adult education, digital teaching and learning, change management, and other extensions thereof. She holds an M.Ed ICT in Education degree and have co-authored three publications with Van Schaik Publishers on the integration of digital teaching and elarning within various subjects. Her journey started as a Foundation phase teacher honoured with two National Awards in the category of “Excellence in technology-enhanced teaching and learning” at National Teaching Awards 2012 and as “Change Agent” at the Microsoft Innovative Teachers Award in 2012. She has applied herself extensively to a broad spectrum of areas including research, writing, public speaking, instructional designing, strategic and innovative thinking and project management, to mention some.
